As a Property Loss Adjuster, you play a vital role in ensuring customers receive fair settlements for their claims. Your expertise and professionalism are essential in resolving disputes and achieving optimal outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where you can utilize your negotiation skills to deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will work closely with brokers and various stakeholders to provide clear communication and prompt resolution of claims.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of loss adjusting principles and practices, as well as excellent attention to detail. Experience in dealing with a wide range of customers and brokers is also essential. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in surge event management to provide critical support during peak periods.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Loss Adjuster who is able to work independently and as part of a team. If you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring a customer-focused experience throughout the process.
  • Engage effectively with customers and third parties, providing clear communication and promptly addressing enquiries.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to aim for optimal outcomes in claims settlements, while providing excellent customer service and fostering relationships with clients.
  • Prepare and deliver case decisions and solutions to the customer, in line with agreed processes at designated level authority, to meet business objectives and the customer proposition.
  • Manage customer interactions in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner, escalating to more senior and/or qualified colleagues as necessary, in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in surge event management to provide vital support during critical times.
Requirements
  • 3+ years Loss Adjusting experience
  • Dip LA, or progress towards ACILA/ACII is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of dealing with brokers and a wide variety of customers
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A Full Driving Licence is required
