Our client is seeking a Consumer Protection Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Consumer Division, reporting to the Head of Unit. This role provides the opportunity to make a strong contribution to consumer protection and represent our client at national and international fora.Key responsibilities include assessing trader compliance with consumer legislation, managing potential breaches by traders, representing our client in the EU Consumer Cooperation Network, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing consumer information material, and responding to queries from external stakeholders.This role requires excellent research, analysis, and report writing skills, as well as strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. A third level degree or professional qualification in law, economics, business, regulation, compliance, or similar related discipline, and at least 2 years' comparable professional experience in case handling within a compliance/regulatory environment are essential criteria for this role.
