**Job Description:**

As an Area Sales Manager for Eriks Ireland, you will be responsible for generating new sales leads in existing customers and developing new customers within defined target market segments in your region. Your primary focus will be on the Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical sectors, where you will identify and penetrate gaps where Eriks do not currently supply.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Generate new sales leads in existing customers and develop new customers within defined target market segments in your region.
  • Identify and penetrate gaps where Eriks do not currently supply in the Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical sectors.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and gather external information to enable you to understand customer needs and create a compelling customer engagement strategy.
  • Create and deliver presentations to clients as required.
  • Manage your territory effectively, utilizing digital tools to ensure quality customer interactions.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and conduct competitor analysis.
  • Manage stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and suppliers, to align customer needs and deliver exceptional results.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong problem-solving and solution-driven sales experience.
  • A technical and commercial engineering background or equivalent experience in authentic sales.
  • A strong track record of winning new business and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to travel across the Republic of Ireland, focusing on the Cork and Southern area.
  • Background in account management within the Pharmaceutical or Petrochemical sector would be advantageous.
