Job Title: Business Operations Director

As the Ireland Consulting Service Line Operations Director, you will play a key role in driving business performance and supporting the implementation of our long-term market growth plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full business planning cycle – Growth Investment plans, budgets, Service Delivery Models (SDMs) / strategic workforce plans and Management Level Outputs (MLOs) / reforecasts
  • Closely monitor business performance and outlook: agree/drive interventions with leadership at Service Lines, Sub Service Lines, Markets/Sectors & Competency levels, working with operational teams to maximize performance
  • Oversee SDM delivery including headcount management and recruitment, and initiatives to optimize offshore/nearshore team deployment
  • Pricing – assist in the development of pricing policies and contribute to shaping profitable sales with Service Lines, Sub Service Lines and Market Leadership
  • Oversee engagement financials/margin and working capital performance, collaborating with finance teams and using Sub Area/Service Line initiatives as appropriate
  • Lead the development and delivery of Consulting’s Reward strategy, working with CBS Reward and Talent teams, covering pay level, Variable Pay Schemes/bonus delivery and the annual pay review
  • Indirect Cost management – ensure effective use of discretionary cash spend and appropriate input around indirect spend with CBS
  • Lead other SL strategic and operational projects as required
  • Member of Consulting's Management Team
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the SL operations team and extended CBS supporting teams critical to delivering business performance
  • Build and maintain a network with peers across SL/CBS and Region (e.g., UKI Super Region Management Team, FSO and other UK&I Service lines)
