Site Manager
Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee and coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring timely completion, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise on-site construction activities, providing technical input and resolving technical issues
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
- Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors for smooth construction progress
- Maintain accurate site reports, records, and documentation
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and assurance checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards
- Monitor and manage material, equipment, and resource utilization to optimize productivity and minimize wastage
- Provide technical support and guidance to the site team and subcontractors as needed
- Assist in preparing project schedules, work plans, and method statements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in residential construction
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with effective site team management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
