Job Description

Vision Ireland and Benetech are seeking a highly skilled Business Growth Strategist to play a crucial role in developing and fostering meaningful connections between our organisation and diverse stakeholders.

The successful candidate will partner with our internal stakeholders to lead and generate new business, organise and attend events to generate new partnerships and promote our services as a whole.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute community engagement projects and events, collecting insights to inform effective project planning and decision-making.

  • Analyse engagement outcomes to present findings and recommendations for further actions.

  • Lead and generate new business for the wider Vision Ireland organisation including The Wayfinding Centre and other aspects of the organisation.

  • Be responsible for the full business development, across all our services and other areas of Vision Ireland including a large portion of time with The Wayfinding Centre and cross-selling partnership with businesses to explore the depth of opportunity.

  • Selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.

  • Identify and create new referral partners to generate new clients across the group.

Requirements:

  • Key Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Business Development Role.

  • Understanding of the role BDs play in the lead generation context.

  • Proactive and continuous improvement mindset, particularly when it comes to rapidly evolving processes and structures.

  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide as required.

  • Proven track record of revenue directions.

  • Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.

  • Proven experience growing or scaling a company's customer base.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience and understanding of disability supports is a distinct advantage.

  • Experience working within a start-up environment an advantage.
