Role Overview
We are seeking a suitably qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Dublin. As a hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to work both in-person and remotely.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
Assessments may also involve evaluating Mental health conditions on behalf of the HSE. You will be required to write up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive specialist assessments
- Writing up assessment reports
- Providing recommendations and interventions
- Supervising and supporting junior staff members (dependent on experience)
Key Requirements:
- A recognised University degree or diploma in Psychology with first or second class honours
- A postgraduate professional psychological qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland or validated by the Department of Health and Children
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/ Specialist developmental assessments with children
- Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism, ADHD, and learning disability
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in relevant areas
- ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
