Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Professional to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services to production and site-wide facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and reactive maintenance support to ensure all work is carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Install and commission plant/equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic programming and diagnostics.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency by maximizing machinery uptime and minimizing downtime in production and utility areas.
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting PLC Programs, and providing technical support for plant facilities.
  • Support environmental, health, and safety activities, carry out engineering work orders safely and efficiently, and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers on new equipment installations and modifications, adhere to quality policies, and assist the Health & Safety team in risk assessments.

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a time-served Electrician (primary requirement).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role, with skills in planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Working knowledge and experience of relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
  • Understanding of Food Safety policies and legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical approach.
  • Experience with motor control systems, process temperature controls, pneumatics, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Flexible and adaptable, with strong team player skills and ability to work independently.
  • PLC/PC Control Systems experience.

Benefits and Additional Information:

This role requires a weekly rotation of days/evenings, with a shift allowance. Some travel may be required. Appointment to this role is subject to eligibility to work in Ireland.
