People Operations Specialist

This role presents an excellent opportunity to build broad knowledge and capability in the areas of employee relations, engagement and management support.

  • Employee Relations Support: Managing timely communication of updates to relevant parties for allocated work;
  • Occupational Health Referrals: Preparing and submitting referrals with support from the People Business Partner as needed;
  • Query Resolution: Supporting the resolution of employee queries in a timely manner, signposting and educating where necessary;
  • Data Provision: Providing timely and accurate data for monthly payroll;
  • Guidance Preparation: Assisting with preparation, review and updating of guidance for employees and managers;
  • Reporting: Supporting the preparation of People data reports when required;
  • Employee Records: Updating and maintaining accurate employee records;
  • Cross-Team Support: Liaising with and supporting (alongside the People Business Partner) the People Service administrators allocated to various regions.
  • Operational Support: Providing general support for the People Business Partner as needed to enable effective People support for operational teams;

The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer-service orientation, be open-minded and tolerant, with excellent interpersonal skills. They should also be comfortable with ambiguity and able to develop practical proposals to address novel situations.
