Key Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Manager to lead our Treasury Regulatory Change and AML Agenda.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Governance and Assurance team to assess regulatory changes and financial crime updates impacting Treasury.

Responsibilities

Lead the review of upstream communications to support Treasury management in implementing enhanced regulatory obligations.

Coordinate review and update key regulatory documents and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the Bank and externally, promoting a cooperative and challenging environment.

Support planning, prioritization, and execution of enhancements, working with sponsors to deliver timely results.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and simplify communications, fostering a culture of continuous excellence.

Embed a strong Conduct Risk culture throughout Treasury, ensuring business readiness activities are considered and amended as necessary.

Prepare and present analysis, insights, and recommendations on complex topics and matters.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience leading a team in a Risk, Audit, or Compliance role.

Knowledge of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive/Regulation, Benchmarks Regulation, Central Securities Depositories Regulation, European Market Infrastructure Regulation, Market Abuse Regulation, Fourth/Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive, Wire Transfer Regulation, and Conduct Risk regulations.

Highly developed relationship management skills, with ability to interact with Senior Management and external stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies, reviewing customer communications, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Relevant professional qualification beneficial, such as Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland or Institute of Bankers/Qualified Financial Advisor.
