Senior Fingerprint Specialist

Fingerprints play a vital role in law enforcement and forensic science. As a Senior Fingerprint Specialist, you will be responsible for the examination, comparison, and classification of fingerprints using advanced techniques and technology.

Job Summary

This is an advanced-level position in the Fingerprint Examiner classification series. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in fingerprint analysis, including the use of Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS) and Biometric systems.

  • Classify and register fingerprints for identification purposes
  • Compare and analyze fingerprints to identify matches or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all fingerprint examinations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in fingerprint examination and analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of fingerprint classification systems and biometric technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
