About the RoleThis is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of conferences, events, and banquets.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise conference operations to ensure seamless execution from setup to wrap-up.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors to meet event requirements.
- Plan, organize, and control daily operations, including bar, restaurant, and room service management.
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Follow cash handling procedures and manage guest queries efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in work areas and throughout the hotel.
- Represent the team's needs and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Contribute to achieving financial targets and assist with training and development of team members.
- Previous conference and banquet experience is essential.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a willingness to develop team members and self.
