Project Lead: Energy Infrastructure
About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Project Lead to oversee critical infrastructure projects in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex civil works on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (HSQE) Excellence: Champion HSQE excellence across every phase of the project, ensuring full compliance with Irish regulations and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership: Provide clear guidance and technical support to engineers, operatives, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative team culture and mentoring junior staff.
- Project Delivery: Plan and manage civil works to meet programme milestones, aligning with strategic energy goals and ensuring successful project execution.
- Results-Driven Approach: Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including budget control, resource management, design coordination, and contract administration.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, utility providers, and public stakeholders, acting as a trusted ambassador for the business.
Sustainability Focus
Align procurement and delivery strategies with environmental objectives and long-term value creation, ensuring that projects respect the environment and serve future generations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Chartered or working towards chartership with Engineers Ireland or similar professional body.
- 5+ years' experience in a Project Manager role, preferably in energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of Irish construction regulations, public procurement frameworks, and energy-sector delivery models.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
