Content Creator Job Description

The role of a Content Creator is to develop and produce high-quality content tailored for social media platforms.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date on beauty and social media trends, proposing new and creative content ideas regularly.

Key responsibilities include filming and editing content in line with current platform best practices, working closely with the wider team to support influencer campaigns and user-generated content initiatives, and monitoring performance metrics to optimize content strategy based on engagement, reach, and conversion.

Additional duties include representing the brand on camera when required, ensuring consistency in tone, look, and feel across all content to maintain brand integrity, supporting sustainable business practices by minimizing waste and promoting responsible sourcing, and being a role model of ways of working with all team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong video production and editing skills, including proficiency with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut.
  • Proven ability to create platform-specific content that performs well on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • A genuine passion for beauty, skincare, and current makeup trends.
  • Strong visual eye with an understanding of lighting, composition, and brand aesthetics.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera.
  • Experience with analytics tools and using insights to inform content decisions is a plus.

Preferred candidates will have 2+ years of experience in a content creation or social media role, ideally within the beauty or lifestyle industry.
