The Data Analyst position is a key contributor to the organization's objectives by managing, processing, and analyzing data. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving best practice in data strategy across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and advise on the creation of dashboards to support organizational goals.
  • Support the planning and implementation of data projects, including advising on effective data visualization.
  • Contribute to organisation-wide, data-related projects by engaging in cross-divisional initiatives and meetings led by senior leadership.
  • Promote and drive data-led storytelling within the organization.
  • Assist other teams in building analytical capabilities, dashboards, and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure robust processes for data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting in line with organisational standards and policies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting (Power BI preferred).
  • Ability to create dashboards and reports and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, data validation, and monitoring (including use of simple scripts for processing and automation).
  • Experience integrating and reporting data using APIs.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Awareness of machine learning concepts and AI applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and divisions.
  • Experience in storytelling with data.
  • Proven experience supporting project delivery individually and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data governance and security compliance processes.
  • Experience with data analysis in line with defined organisational standards and policies.
  • Background in telecommunications or other regulated industries, within government, consultancy, or corporate environments.
  • Strong presentation and engagement skills.
