Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team.

  • About the Role:
  • Lead and manage teams involved in statistical production life cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data gaps, improve data quality, and enhance statistical efficiency.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize data collection, processing, and dissemination processes.
  • Maintain databases and data systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Extract key insights from complex datasets and present findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at national and international meetings related to official statistics.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Analyse trends and patterns in complex datasets to inform policy decisions.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and lead teams of support staff.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including policymakers, respondents, and users of statistics.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required. Proven experience in data analysis, team leadership, and communication.
