Philanthropy Manager

The role of the Philanthropy Manager is to play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional donor care and supporting the successful implementation of multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Key responsibilities include managing donation processing, ensuring accurate donor records, and providing regular reports on fundraising activities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for donors, guaranteeing prompt and professional responses to queries.
  • Lead on donor care, handling enquiries, and delivering best-practice stewardship.
  • Manage donation processing, ensuring proper coding, allocation, and timely acknowledgements.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive donor records on Salesforce, ensuring GDPR compliance and monthly reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will combine excellent organisational skills with creativity, data-driven decision making, and a strong ability to develop donor loyalty and grow income.

Key qualifications and skills required include:

  • At least two years' experience in a similar fundraising role.
  • Proven experience delivering excellent donor care and stewardship.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling supporter communications.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
