Hotel Host Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Host to join our team. As a key member of the hotel's front-of-house, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service and has an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome throughout their stay;
  • Transport guests to and from the airport using our shuttle bus service;
  • Provide detailed information about hotel services and facilities to guests and other departments as required;
  • Ensure mail and messages are delivered promptly after receipt;
  • Maximise customer satisfaction by promoting hotel restaurants and services to customers;
  • Stay up-to-date on local events, attractions, and dining options to provide informed recommendations to guests;
  • Arrange special requests for guests and maintain positive relationships with regular visitors;
  • Communicate effectively with guests to resolve any issues or concerns promptly;
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality is essential;
  • A full clean B driving licence is required;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when interacting with colleagues and guests.
