Senior Culinary Director

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team at a modern boutique hotel in Galway City.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the culinary direction of the hotel, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Mentor, train, and support staff to maintain high standards.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs regarding HACCP, quality, and cost control.
  • Manage staff, food, and waste costs, as well as supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Be a team player and an integral part of the hospitality team.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends, with no more than 45 hours per week.
  • Capable of planning, executing, and multitasking.
Requirements:
  • A high-quality restaurant, gastro bar, or hotel background, ideally with a mix of experience.
  • Previous experience as a head chef or sous level desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
