The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and acquired brain injuries. This role requires a strong understanding of the principles and techniques utilized in cognitive rehabilitation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to promote resident independence and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate records of resident care, including progress notes and treatment plans.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Health or Social Care qualification, such as a third-level degree in Psychology, Social Care, or Social Work.
- FETAC Level 5 – Health Care Major Award or its equivalent.
- Experience working in a care environment.
