Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Premium Support Engineer to provide expert-level technical support to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills, a calm analytical approach to problem-solving, and excellent troubleshooting skills. They will also possess strong relationship-building skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Act as a single point of contact for all technical support cases from assigned Premium Support customers.
- Develop in-depth understanding of customers' environments to resolve their support cases more efficiently.
- Provide reactive and proactive support and guidance to improve the performance and reliability of OpenText solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to technical inquiries from customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolving complex technical issues through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Providing training and guidance to customers on the optimal use of OpenText solutions.
Requirements:
- Calm analytical approach to problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Professional manner with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Linux, Shell scripting, Container experience (Docker/Kubernetes), Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Firewalls, Proxy servers), and Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a customer support environment.
