Job Overview

The role of a project coordinator is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of services installations, data analysis, and specification review.

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their service installation requirements
  • Manage contractors and subcontractors effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Utilize data analysis tools to identify critical sequences and quantify resources needed
  • Review and report on specifications and design drawings for accuracy
  • Develop design proposals at various stages including sketch, detailed design, and production
  • Plan and manage design team outputs and documentation
  • Facilitate communication between design teams and contractors
  • Attend client meetings to provide progress updates
  • Organize coordination meetings for contractors
  • Plan work schedules and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Review and verify commissioning of MEP systems
  • Coordinate submittal of safety files upon project completion
Requirements

A suitable candidate should have an engineering degree or diploma in a related field. They must also possess 8+ years of experience in main contracting, services contracting, or consulting roles. Additionally, they should be familiar with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, and process systems, as well as construction practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package is necessary, along with excellent interpersonal skills, written, and oral communication abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high responsiveness, work independently, and contribute to quality and safety operations.
