Project DirectorWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the construction and optimization of data centres.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.

About the Role
  • The Project Director will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of data centre construction projects.
  • He/she will ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of data centre construction projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate issues on-site, working closely with subcontractors, vendors and client representatives to resolve any challenges that arise.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks and mitigation strategies to senior management and clients as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically in data centre construction or related industries.
  • Background in trades or a relevant degree/qualification in construction management, engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on-site, with a rotational presence in Sweden for 3-week intervals during the initial and final phases of projects.
