Job Description:

  • Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily lives and help them achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality care and support services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Engage individuals in activities that promote social integration, independence, and personal growth.
  • Facilitate communication between individuals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework or equivalent qualification in Community/Health or Social Care.
  • At least one year's experience working with vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
  • A full driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
