
Social Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team. Our client organisation is committed to providing person-centred care that transforms the lives of individuals with physical, intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities, with a strong focus on providing high-quality support services that promote independence and community integration.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide daily living support to individuals in residential communities and 4-day services nationwide.
- Work collaboratively with a brilliant team of social and care staff to develop and implement individualised plans and methods to meet ongoing needs.
- Ensure effective communication and interpersonal skills are utilised at all times.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
- At least one year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Strong working knowledge of legislation in place to protect vulnerable adults.
- Full clean manual driver's license and availability of own car for this post.
