Process Optimisation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Process Optimisation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting process development activities and leading the change control process for significant process optimisation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support process development activities for significant process optimisation projects.
  • Lead the change control process for significant process optimisation projects, liaising with local and divisional functions.
  • Apply engineering principles, calculations, and computational methods to technical challenges.
  • Interface with Materials Science and Divisional partners to understand manufacturing processes in depth.
  • Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting, supported by team members and external agents.
  • Provide engineering support for new process introduction.
  • Implement lean manufacture within manufacturing.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 0-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A business understanding of operations and their impacts essential.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for optimizing existing and new processes.
  • High-level PC skills required.
  • Flexibility essential.
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
  • Experience in a six sigma and Lean Manufacturing environment with proven improvement results.
  • Green or Black Belt 6 Sigma qualifications.
  • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally as required.
