Procurement Associate

As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services for our projects.

Located at our Head Office in Waterford City, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, supplier relations, and directly supporting our project delivery teams and cost control department.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company in the construction industry. As our next Procurement Associate, you will be the backbone of the procurement team, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring supplier and subcontractor information is current and accurate; auditing subcontractors to ensure compliance.

You will also be responsible for generating procurement reports, tracking key metrics, and ensuring activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management — Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure all compliance documentation is current.
  • Supplier Administration — Onboard new vendors and maintain supplier and subcontractor databases.
  • Reporting & Compliance — Generate procurement reports and track key metrics.
  • Maintain HSE & ISO compliance — Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure documentation is up to date.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years of administrative or procurement experience, ideally within the construction or M&E sector.
  • Familiarity with raising and managing purchase orders, supplier relations, and material tracking.
  • Knowledge of Local Supply Chain (LSC) or similar software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail—accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative team player.
