Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in procurement and supply chain management to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability
  • Manage direct material procurement and inventory management across multiple sites, ensuring accurate and timely orders aligned with production schedules
  • Monitor demand signals to avoid shortages and adjust procurement activity as needed
  • Use historical trends and current forecasts to make informed, proactive adjustments to supply plans
  • Apply data insights to improve material availability and procurement strategies
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A B.S. degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in business, preferably in a multi-site or shared service environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience sourcing materials for production environments, with a focus on meeting quality, cost, and lead-time targets
