Job Title: Transmission and Compliance Editor

We are seeking a skilled Transmission and Compliance Editor to join our team.

Job Description:

As a key member of our broadcast services team, you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and output to air of all Virgin Media channels. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prepares live programmes for quick turnaround repeats
  • Prepares all non-live programmes to fulfill the needs of the weekly programme and digital schedules across all VMTV channels
  • Flags and resolves any audio/visual glitches within files
  • Evaluates acquired programme content with due regard to Virgin Media television's taste and decency guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's editing experience
  • Knowledge of Avid based editing systems or similar
  • Understanding of broadcast video formats and standards
