Job Title: Person In Charge

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Person In Charge. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of responsibility and commitment to providing exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the service users' needs are being met through effective management and supervision.
  • Develop and implement daily activities designed to promote social skills, daily living skills, and overall well-being.
  • Maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage household tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the residential setting.
  • Keep accurate records of service user documentation and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as required by the role.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or a relevant qualification, or be eligible for CORU registration. You should also have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities and proven managerial skills with at least three years' experience at a management level and an appropriate management qualification of a minimum of QQI level 6.
