Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Director to oversee the smooth operation of our practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and office management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of bookkeeping clients, preparing and reviewing multiple VAT Returns, and performing bank reconciliations. They will also be responsible for processing sales and purchase invoices, filing returns on ROS, and implementing and maintaining office administrative systems.

Responsibilities

1. **Client Management**: Responsible for a small portfolio of bookkeeping clients, ensuring timely completion of tasks and providing excellent customer service.
2. **VAT Returns**: Prepare and review multiple VAT Returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
3. **Financial Administration**: Perform bank reconciliations, process sales and purchase invoices, and file returns on ROS.
4. **Office Administration**: Implement and maintain office administrative systems, including procedures and policies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
1. IATI or similar qualification
2. 5+ years bookkeeping experience in practice
3. Ideally 2+ years experience in a similar role of being a Practice office manager
4. Experience with using Accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks and Dext preferable
5. Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a Team
7. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
