Job Title: German Language Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced German language specialist to join our team. As a key member of our localization department, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality translation and localization of our games and other content into German.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate and localize game content, including in-game text, audio scripts, and live events, from English to German.
  • Collaborate with project management, QA, and other language specialists to ensure clarity of expectations and alignment on quality.
  • Review and approve assets before publication.
  • Provide guidance to external German vendors and internal testers; answer style and translation queries.
  • Proactively track, evaluate, and help fix linguistic bugs and quality issues.
  • Maintain and evolve translation assets (glossary, termbase, translation memories and style guides).
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a German Translator/Language Specialist, ideally in the games industry.
  • Strong creative writing and localization adaptation skills.
  • Familiarity with shooter games, multiplayer, and live content is a distinct advantage.
  • Native-level German, business-level English.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn, adapt, and experiment.
