Job Title: Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of payrolls across all companies, including collecting, calculating and inputting payroll data for all employees.
  • Preparation of in-house payrolls (Ireland & UK), supported by other members of the finance team.
  • Overseeing the preparation of externally outsourced payrolls in some of our European / Nordic companies.
  • Collaboration with HR, Finance, Project Delivery, Commercial and other departments to gather and validate payroll information, payroll allocations, such as new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies while processing payrolls, including Benefit in Kind.

The Payroll Manager will report to the Regional Financial Controllers and will be assigned the responsibility and accountability for all aspects of Payroll for all companies. The position will support and participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting processes. This will be a dynamic role offering exposure across the entire finance function with a close working relationship with our Human Resource, Project Delivery and Commercial Teams.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of payrolls across all companies. This includes collecting, calculating and inputting payroll data for all employees, preparing in-house payrolls, overseeing externally outsourced payrolls and collaborating with various departments to gather and validate payroll information.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a professional payroll or accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) and 5+ years' experience processing payroll for Ireland and UK. You will also need to have a high level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, excellent analytical skills, strong time management and organisational skills, and ability to prioritise and multi-task and work within tight deadlines.
