Job Description

This is a key role in the claims management team responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience through efficient and compliant claims handling. The successful candidate will manage motor or non-motor property damage claims depending on the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customers with information regarding their eligibility cover/benefits and terms and conditions advising them on the claims process and regularly updating them on progress.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to customers and third parties by consulting relevant data sources.
  • Prioritize customer needs and drive actions to meet expectations.
  • Process incoming correspondence and documentation efficiently within service level agreements and regulations.
  • Review claims to determine necessary actions and follow up with relevant parties.
  • Investigate claims thoroughly and efficiently to identify relevant and complete information prioritizing telephone contact.
  • Work with customers and service providers to progress claims towards settlement according to departmental procedures.
  • Collaborate with service providers to ensure fair and efficient investigation of liability and damages.
  • Reserve accurately by estimating realistic ultimate costs for potential liabilities.
  • Review claims within agreed timeframes ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
