Experienced Claims Handler



About the Role:

Zurich Insurance is seeking an experienced claims handler to join our team based in Wexford, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of motor damage claims and other claims-related activities on behalf of Zurich Insurance.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of material damage claims
  • Proactively managing cases to achieving a settlement within designated personal authority levels
  • Demonstrating advanced technical claims competence for handling moderate to high complexity material damage claims
  • Driving cases to timely and accurate resolution with a focus on customer service, indemnity, and expense
  • Managing key internal and external relationships to ensure stakeholders are informed on file updates
  • Providing high-quality customer service and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Implementing efficient claims management processes by utilizing industry-leading telematics technology
  • Striving for continuous improvement through feedback and support from Quality Audit processes
  • Liaising with customers, brokers, company service providers, and claimants in person, by telephone, or written correspondence


Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with 1 year plus industry knowledge, holding or working towards relevant professional qualifications, excellent technical insurance knowledge, strong decision-making and sound numeric skills, high-level interpersonal and communication skills, experience in engaging suppliers and external vendors, and the ability to work within a team environment.

Additional Information:
