We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can provide cost management expertise to public sector projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and project finance.

Job Description:

The Cost Manager will be responsible for providing cost management services to public sector clients. This will include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets
  • Conducting cost analysis and feasibility studies
  • Managing and monitoring project costs throughout the project lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of public sector projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing cost management strategies
  • Collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Providing advice on procurement strategy and contractual matters

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as quantity surveying or construction management
  • Professional membership with a relevant institute such as RICS
  • Proven experience in cost management, preferably within the public sector
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
