This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organization as a Senior Billing Specialist. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.

  • Configure and maintain new client contracts within our billing system, ensuring accurate setup and maintenance of client contract information.
  • Manage daily client inquiries related to billing, invoices, and account discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate the collection of meter readings and billing data from clients via email and phone, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly service and contract invoices in line with billing schedules, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping, supporting business growth and performance.
  • Submit monthly billing reports and data to relevant stakeholders, providing valuable insights into business trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze billing trends and develop strategies to maximize revenue and enhance performance.
  • Contribute to finance operations by preparing ad-hoc reports and supporting projects as needed, leveraging your analytical skills and technical expertise.

  • A third-level qualification or equivalent experience in a financial administration role.
  • Over 5 years' experience in billing, invoicing, or financial administration roles, with a strong background in high-volume, fast-paced finance environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis, with hands-on experience with Vantage and Sage systems an advantage.
