Senior Finance Manager

Barden are delighted to be partnering with our multinational client in their search for a Senior Finance professional to join their European HQ.
Working closely with local and international finance leaders, the role offers a wide scope as there is currently significant growth in the company.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global business at a senior level.
You will be responsible for overseeing key areas of Finance including controllership, compliance and reporting for a large region.
The role offers lots of variety and our client is seeking an ambitious person with strong business partnering capabilities and technical skills.

About the Role
Oversee key aspects of monthly and quarterly reporting, ensuring timely delivery to corporate head office
Partner with local and international finance teams providing guidance and support on technical accounting matters to ensure accurate reporting
Coordinate internal and external audit engagements, including SOX control testing and walkthroughs
Oversee statutory audit activities, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
Provide training and guidance to international controllers on technical accounting topics, contributing to the development of their skills and expertise
Participate in ad hoc projects aimed at improving processes, creating efficiencies and strengthening internal controls
About the Person
Minimum 7-10 years of post-qualified experience
Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
Positive attitude with a high level of personal integrity
Organised and efficient personality, positive attitude
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
