Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and report regularly to senior management
  • Advise on contractual matters – general and project level, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Identify contract grounds for claim and negotiate settlements
  • Provide commercial and quantity surveying support, advising on appointing project staff and negotiating subcontractor agreements
  • Ensure final accounts are closed in a timely manner, verifying accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate losses and implement measures to prevent recurrence

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior construction management role on large-scale construction projects
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, managing multiple stakeholders and prioritizing tasks
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven understanding of the construction industry, with experience working on site and collaborating with sub-contractors
