Lead Software Architect

This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

As Lead Software Architect you will be responsible for driving best practices and innovative solutions through mentorship and guidance of engineers. This includes translating business requirements into scalable, robust technical architectures that meet the needs of our customers.

You will partner with engineers, business analysts and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery of projects. Additionally, you will recommend new tools and technologies, optimise platforms and drive innovation within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentor and guide engineers in best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, robust technical architectures.
  • Partner with engineers, business analysts and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Recommend new tools, optimise platforms and drive innovation.
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies for potential integration.
  • Lead exploration of new methods and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong experience with .NET and/or AWS development.
  • Knowledge of associated technologies such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes and microservices.
  • Familiarity with integration techniques including third-party applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git and DevOps practices.
  • Background in databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Proven ability to deliver large-scale, complex projects.
