Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 7 staff to include reception and night porters.
  • Oversee the front desk and back office administration, ensuring guests receive excellent customer service at all times.
  • Review and compile Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the front office department.
  • Provide staff training and daily management of hotel and third-party websites.
  • Coordinate group reservations with the sales department and manage debtors.
  • Collaborate with the hotel sales team and revenue manager, attending meetings as required.
  • Provide backup support to the reception team during lunch and holiday shifts.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a 3/4-star hotel is essential.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and provide exceptional customer care.
