Job Title: HR Manager

This is a new role for the organization, responsible for guiding our future staff recruitment, retention and development plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR function, providing guidance to management and staff.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing & screening candidates, shortlisting CVs, scheduling & partaking in interviews, reference checking etc.
  • Focus on employee retention, with particular attention on new employee inductions and wellbeing/retention initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Oversee performance management, training, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and reporting same to senior management and the board.

Candidate Profile:

  • Third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years HR experience, including 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
  • Awareness of the health, social care, or charity sector desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • CIPD membership (or working towards) an advantage.
