We are seeking a skilled Workshop Operations Manager to lead our workshop team.

About the Role:

The Workshop Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth scheduling and optimal efficiency. This role involves working closely with service advisors to manage customer updates and requirements, distributing tasks to technicians according to their expertise and current workload, providing guidance on complex diagnostics and repair issues when needed, carrying out final inspections to maintain quality standards, and addressing technical concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workshop operations and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Manage customer updates and requirements in collaboration with service advisors.
  • Distribute tasks to technicians based on their skills and workload.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex diagnostic and repair issues.
  • Maintain quality standards through regular inspections and address technical concerns promptly.

Requirements:

  • Relevant automotive technical qualification with strong diagnostic knowledge.
  • Background in workshop leadership or coordination, preferably with an automotive brand.
  • Excellent understanding of workshop processes, quality standards, and technical procedures.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator able to liaise with customers, technicians, and suppliers.
  • Proficient in IT systems including MS Office, DMS platforms, and diagnostic software.
