You will also be instrumental in scheduling and managing internal audits, monitoring day-to-day compliance, and building strong relationships with external auditors and partners.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of organisational skills, attention to detail, and technical knowledge of the regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure day‑to‑day compliance with Laboratory ISO17025 tasks.
  • Schedule and manage the internal audit process from initiation through to implementation and maintenance.
  • Act as authorised document controller for all Laboratory documents, ensuring correct revisions are in use.
  • Assist in uploading Laboratory data to the LIMS system.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with external auditors and safety partners.
  • Prepare, collect and compile compliance data for auditors and internal departments and share as needed with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Work with the Compliance team to ensure processes, procedures and document control systems align with the Company structure.
  • Maintain and update the Laboratory Quality Management System.
  • Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes that may impact the business and liaise with the Laboratory Manager on actions required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum degree in compliance, science, quality management or related fields; prior experience in a Compliance role is desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering ISO 17025.
  • Auditing qualification and/or experience is an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the regulatory landscape to support lab development and growth is a distinct advantage.
  • An excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong IT skills including MS Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint; proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and company databases.
Benefits
  • A good benefits package including a Company Pension Scheme, Death in Service, and Income Protection.
  • Training provided with opportunities for further education.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Laboratory. If you are a driven and organised individual with a passion for quality and compliance, we would love to hear from you.
