Production Planning and Scheduling

">

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production of manufactured products.

  • This includes liaising with production supervisors to ensure that the schedule is suitable and evaluating raw materials stock to ensure everything is in place for production.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain, Production Planning or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role.

">Key Responsibilities:">

  • Plan and schedule production of manufactured products.

  • Liaise with production supervisors to ensure suitability of production schedule.

  • Evaluate raw materials stock to ensure readiness for production.

  • Pass on lead times and scheduled collection dates for orders to sales/customer service team.

  • Report on status of scheduled production.

  • Handle production disruptions and productivity problems.

  • Use market forecasts to anticipate necessary production changes.

  • Coordinate cycle counts and reconcile counts when necessary.

">Requirements:">

  • BSc in Supply Chain, Production Planning or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role.

  • At least 2 years' experience using ERP/MRP system.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent team player and multi-tasker.

  • A high level of attention to detail.

  • SAP experience.
