Operational Manager

The Deputy Manager role is crucial to the day-to-day operation of a store, providing support to the Store Manager and working at the core of the business. This senior team member is responsible for delivering exceptional service to colleagues and managers alike.
This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. The Deputy Manager must be able to take full accountability for the store when the Store Manager is not present and serve as the primary point of contact for all colleagues' queries.
The ideal candidate will possess previous retail management experience and a genuine passion for working with people and customers. They must be flexible in their thinking, able to make informed decisions and adapt to change while effectively prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
A key aspect of this role is fostering open communication within the store and creating an environment that encourages two-way dialogue. The Deputy Manager must understand the store's key performance indicators and lead the team to achieve targets.
They will also be responsible for reviewing reports and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, resulting in enhanced customer and colleague experiences.
