Community Project Coordinator

This is a vital role within our organisation that requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual to empower community organisations by providing tools, guidance, and resources to achieve energy efficiency goals.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Community Solutions Manager to scale the reach and impact of our community work, including supporting Sustainable Energy Communities and our Community Fund.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with community groups, coordinate quotes for energy audits, provide information on financial supports available, and collaborate with project managers and grants teams.
  • Manage the list of Community Projects to ensure timely actions are taken.
  • Assist in preparing grant application packs for community projects and project delivery files.
  • Research funding opportunities for not-for-profit organisations.
  • Administer the Community Fund, develop digital feedback forms, and draft Impact Reports.
  • Coordinate national Community events, maintain an events calendar, and gather information for case studies, videos, social media posts, and testimonials.
Requirements:
  • 3 years' experience in coordination, project management, or administration roles.
  • Third-level qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, or a relevant area.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, initiative, and proactivity.
  • Excellent IT skills and interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Results-driven, ability to build strong client relationships, and flexibility/adaptability.
  • Full driving licence.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience with grant applications or tendering.
  • Knowledge of energy retrofitting or construction industry.
  • Data analytics, social impact analysis, or CSR reporting.
