Job Title: Employment Opportunity Coordinator
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Employment Opportunity Coordinator. This is a rewarding role that will involve working with participants who are blind or vision impaired to achieve their employment, training, and education goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support participants in gaining employment, training, or education by developing case management plans and monitoring progress.
- Deliver job readiness training and provide intensive job search support to ensure sustainable placements.
- Promote the benefits of employing individuals who are vision impaired and identify new employer partners.
- Network with industry partners and organizations to expand opportunities and support awareness campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in social studies, community work, health/social care, psychology, or related field.
- Knowledge of national employment policy and rights promotion.
- Experience working with service users to assess quality in services.
- Strong communication, report writing, facilitation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably CRM systems.
