Industrial Process Optimization Specialist

Job Opportunity:
A seasoned Manufacturing Process Engineer is required to collaborate with clients on new product introduction (NPI) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers on NPI projects to enhance manufacturability and complete projects on schedule, ensuring timely delivery.
- Pursue Continuous Improvement activities aligned with business objectives and current cost reduction goals, focusing on process optimization.
- Develop assembly documentation and work instructions for production teams.
- Train Operatives in assembly procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Support the Maintenance Team in designing planned maintenance routines for surface mount technology (SMT) equipment and perform critical Engineering Maintenance tasks as needed.
- Provide technical support to production teams, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Implement process controls such as failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) and control plans within the change management process, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- L8 qualification in a manufacturing-related engineering discipline or equivalent, demonstrating relevant expertise.
- Experience working with engineering bills of materials and drawings, showcasing proficiency in design.
- Flexibility to undertake overtime or work weekends according to business needs, ensuring adaptability.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of SMT components and processes, highlighting familiarity with industry standards.
