Restaurant Manager Job Description

The role of Restaurant Manager is a key position within our hospitality team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and professional operation of our restaurant and bar.

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage delivery, maintaining high standards of customer service, and exceeding targets. You will work closely with our Director of Operations to implement consistent delivery of superior customer service through the development and implementation of SOPs (standard operating procedures).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a professional impression on customers and team members.
  • Implementing standard operating procedures to ensure consistent customer service.
  • Acting on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility.
  • Supervising the department to ensure effective operation on a day-to-day basis, while maintaining company brand standards consistently with attention to detail.
  • Complying with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability and employment legislation.
  • Keeping all department team members sales focused and ensuring ongoing training as required.

You will be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus, working in cooperation with our Head Chef and kitchen team. You will also be responsible for ensuring dining areas are maintained within cleaning schedules, and that HACCP, cleaning schedules are completed on a daily basis and standards maintained.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participating in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels.
  • Communicating company services to guests as required.
  • Maintaining the highest standards in personal hygiene and grooming.
